So instead of rushing to the castle the second I step foot through the Disney gates and trying to take a picture of it, I’ve learned that the best time to do so is before a parade! They block off the entrance and since it’s still relatively early in the day you’ll be able to catch good natural lighting against the castle.

Last Moment of Calm by jdhilger
Via Flickr:Ghibli Museum Mitaka, Japan This is the last photo I took of the exterior of the Ghibli museum. This is looking back, towards the main entrance. The earthquake would strike 20 minutes later while we were watching a film inside.

Sleeping Beauty Castle Disneyland Anaheim, CA I keep trying to take the “perfect” shot of the old girl. I know that’s impossible: I’ll be trying and failing for the rest of my life, but that’s the game, right? As long as I’m enjoying myself and at least somebody out there enjoys looking at the end result it’s a photography victory.

Game Face by Scott Smith (SRisonS)

As happy-go-lucky as most Cast Members are, they definitely know when to bring out their game face. When it comes to crowd control, safety, or other serious situations; the job is no laughing matter. Josh here, is blocking off traffic before the Flag Retreat ceremony starts.- Scott Smith

My poor son, all he wanted was a picture with Buzz and Woody. He was denied access by the grumpy old door man. -Yukio Kawasaki

Mayor of Main Street, U.S.A. by Adam Hansen

I always find myself spending time on Main Street capturing the different characters. Mayor Weaver is a lot of fun to shoot because he really gets into interacting with the guests. This shot was taken as he was watching a little boy on the sidewalk crying. Mayor Weaver got very serious then went over and started talking to the boy and his family to make sure everything was okay. Of course he ended it by telling them he had to make sure his future little voter was okay because every vote counts :) - Adam Hansen
